After high school, I played baseball for Snow College and Albertson College for 3 years. I met my wife – in Boise – while attending Albertson College. Due to injuries, I decided to end my baseball career before my senior year. So, I came back to Salt Lake to attend the University of Utah. I graduated with a BS in Economics, BS in Communications, and an MBA with an emphasis in finance and strategy. I currently work as a technical consultant for the Utah Department of Commerce – my primary duties include working with financial, economic, and public policy issues relating to utility regulation and policy. My wife is a chemist/technologist for Watson Pharmaceuticals; she is currently a DESB MBA student at the U of U. My wife and I do not have any children, nor do we have any plans to have any in the foreseeable future.
